How We Charge

The AI Diagnostic is a fixed fee: AUD 5,000 for one department, and more for each additional department in scope. Where a department is very large, the price may be adjusted. The fee covers the workshop, the analysis, the presentation and the document, and the roadmap is yours to act on with us or without us.

A build is priced either as a fixed cost for an initial outcome, such as the first release, or as a monthly rate for the team once later phases are under way. We do not publish a figure for a build, because the scale is set by the number of features, the number of platforms, the number of user groups and the number of users, and projects have run from four weeks to several months. Milestone billing is available for greenfield work. For enhancements to an application another team built, milestone billing is available once we have audited the application, so the plan is costed against what is actually there.

Co-development adds engineers who work alongside you as the application evolves; you set the product direction. Development support is AUD 20,000 a month and combines a local consultant and an offshore technical lead, both fractional, with a dedicated full-time full-stack engineer offshore. A development review is a once-off AUD 10,000: we review the current application and provide a recommendations report.

Recurring work needs 30 days' notice to end. A planned pause costs nothing; an unplanned pause may incur up to 30 days' notice. Intellectual property is assigned to you on payment, and that assignment is written into the contract. There is no minimum project size. Every engagement starts under Australian leadership; once a project is well under way, some customers choose to work directly with our Philippine team to reduce cost, and we continue to monitor team performance from Australia either way.
