The Challenge
Adaca developed Lovelace, a web-based AI IDE for distributed engineering teams. Originally built on GCP, the architecture suffered from cold start latency and connection overhead that impacted real-time collaboration.
The Solution
We migrated Lovelace to Cloudflare Workers, rebuilding six core microservices and implementing Durable Objects for stateful AI agent execution. This eliminated complex coordination logic whilst leveraging Workers' sub-5ms cold starts and automatic global distribution.
The Results
Speed improvements were immediate. Cold starts dropped from seconds to milliseconds. AI agents now execute closer to users globally, reducing latency for real-time coding assistance. We also achieved significant cost reductions by eliminating egress fees and paying only for active CPU time.

The Challenge
Childcare Centre Desktop is a comprehensive management platform for childcare providers, handling sensitive child data, staff operations, and compliance workflows. The AWS-based infrastructure had security vulnerabilities that posed risks in a highly regulated industry.
The Solution
Adaca engaged a cybersecurity consultant to audit the platform. The assessment identified critical gaps in application firewall protection and DDoS mitigation. We implemented Cloudflare's WAF and CDN to address these deficiencies whilst maintaining the existing AWS infrastructure.
